Overview

This policy explains what data pavelveter.com ("the site") collects when you visit, how it is used, and what rights you have. The site is a personal portfolio and has no user accounts, payment processing, or contact forms that store your data.

Data collected

• ›Server logs — the web server (nginx) records the IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, and timestamps for every request. These are used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
• ›Analytics — the site uses Yandex.Metrika, a privacy-oriented web analytics service. It sets cookies and collects pseudonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) to understand how the site is used.
• ›Roast With AI — when you use the "Roast With AI" feature, the text you submit is sent to the site’s backend API to generate a response. Submitted text is not stored after the response is streamed.
• ›Local preferences — theme choice and terminal-command history hints are kept in your browser’s localStorage / sessionStorage and never leave your device.

How data is used

Data is used exclusively to keep the site secure and working, to measure aggregate traffic, and to improve content. Personal data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

• ›The hosting provider of the server that runs the site.

Cookies

The site sets cookies only through Yandex.Metrika for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains fully functional without them. Blocking analytics does not affect any core feature.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data about you that the site may hold. Since the site stores no account data, such requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact me at the address below and I will respond promptly.
